We worship God by singing hymns and songs.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son [Jesus Christ], so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life” - John 3:16

We worship God by praying.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” – 1st John 5:14-15

We worship God by reading and studying the scriptures.

“All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.” – 2nd Timothy 3:16-17

We worship God by loving and serving others.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” – 1st Peter 4:10

At Messiah United Methodist Church, all people seeking to worship and encounter the living God are welcomed to worship with us.  Come as you are: there are no requirements; no dress codes, no expectations, no qualifications.  Our hearts and doors are open to all who want to know the love of God and the gift of life that comes through his son, Christ Jesus.   Come, now is the time to Worship God.

What is Worship?

Worship is giving honor and praise to God.  As a community, we gather on Sunday mornings to worship God who is gracious and merciful.
